Travelling on Saturday 23 May
On Saturday 23 May, all six Park & Ride car parks will be open until midnight as we are expecting the city to be very busy with York Races and Middlesbrough fans making their way to Wembley. The buses will run to the usual timetable, with the last buses from the city centre at around 10.30pm.
Overnight parking at the Park & Ride is currently not permitted, so all vehicles will need to be moved from the car park by midnight. Visit FirstBus for buses timetables.
Those travelling from York Station by train are advised to check their return journey in full, as buses will stop running at around 10.30pm. For the latest rail travel updates, visit: Travel Alerts for your Train Journey | LNER.
York's Park & Ride services allow you to travel to York by car, park for free in secure car parks and complete your journey into the city centre by bus.
From Monday to Saturday the first bus from each site departs at about 05:30 (07:30 on Sundays) and the last returning bus departs from the city centre at about 22:30.
Park & Ride buses are all low-floor and wheelchair-accessible. Park & Ride fares are low, with up to 3 children aged 16 or under travelling free when accompanied by a paying adult. Discounts are available for regular Park & Ride users.
All Park & Ride sites and buses are equipped with free WiFi. Public toilet facilities are available at all sites.
Dogs are permitted on Park & Ride buses providing they are quiet, well-behaved and are kept off the seats.
Overnight parking is not allowed on any Park & Ride site.
