Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride service 2/2A operates 7 days a week.

There are 1,000 parking spaces at the site.

There is a dedicated car park entry and exit road from the A19/A1237 roundabout. To avoid obstructing buses, please use this route to access the site rather than the bus entry and exit lane on Shipton Road.

Overnight parking is not permitted at Park & Ride sites. Please check the site closing times before leaving your car. Any vehicles left in the car park after the site closes will incur a penalty charge.

Services 2 and 2A have been re-routed via Bootham and Clifton in both directions. This change has been made to facilitate the replacement of diesel bendy-buses with electric double deckers as part of First York's move to a fully-electric bus fleet.

The inbound Water End stop is longer served by Park & Ride buses, although services 19, 30 and 31X will continue to stop there. The nearest alternative stop for services 2/2A is at Clifton Green inbound. There is also an additional inbound stop at Bootham Park, and a setting-down stop at Theatre Royal.

The National Railway Museum stop is no longer served by routes 2 or 2A. If you are visiting the museum, please use Poppleton Bar Park & Ride, which now stops there in both directions.

There are no changes to the main city centre stops at Station Avenue RM or Museum Street EA.

Camper vans and coaches

11 spaces are provided for the use of larger vehicles such as camper vans. If your vehicle is taller than 2.1 metres (6 foot 10 inches) please stop before entering or exiting the parking area - use the push button device to ask the supervisor to open the height barrier for you.

Coach parking is not available at this site.

Disabled parking is in zone A, directly behind the site office building.
