There are 920 parking spaces at the site.

Overnight parking is not permitted at Park & Ride sites. Please check the site closing times before leaving your car. Any vehicles left in the car park after the site closes will incur a penalty charge.

Camper vans and coaches

20 spaces are provided for the use of larger vehicles such as camper vans.

If your vehicle is taller than 2.1 metres (6 foot 10 inches) please stop before entering or exiting the parking area - use the push button device to ask the supervisor to open the barrier for you.

Coach parking is not available at Park & Ride sites.

University of York

Visitors, students and staff are not permitted to park at Grimston Bar and walk to the University. During term time, service UB1 connects the Park & Ride site to Campus East and Campus West.

If you are travelling to the University and plan to use Field Lane car park, turn off Hull Road at Field Lane roundabout instead of turning left into the Park & Ride site.
