Bus route diversions
The Stonebow/Fossgate/Merchantgate works are now complete. All bus routes are back to normal in the city centre.
Holly Bank Road will be closed from Monday 25th February for up to 8 weeks during carriageway reconstruction. Service 16 will divert along Hamilton Drive, not serving Holly Bank Road, Hob Moor Drive or Collingwood Avenue.
Various roads connecting villages to the east and south of York will be subject to short closures during stage 1 of the Tour de Yorkshire cycle race on Thursday 2nd May. The race route will pass through Pocklington, Barmby Moor, Sutton-on-Derwent, Elvington, Wheldrake, Escrick, Stillingfleet, Cawood and Thorpe Willoughby between approximately 16:30 and 17:30. Roads will be closed for about 30 minutes whilst the race passes through. If you intend to travel on services 18, 36, 42, 45, 46, X46 or 415 during these times please consider arranging to travel earlier or later, or allow up to 30 minutes extra for your journey.
Buses between York and the east coast are likely to be affected by stage 3 of the Tour de Yorkshire on Saturday 4th May. Please check with Yorkshire Coastliner for more information nearer the time.
