
Dial & Ride is a flexible door-to-door bus service for residents who find it difficult to use standard buses due to age or mobility problems.
Dial & Ride serves popular destinations such as major supermarkets, shopping centres and York city centre.
Buses will collect you from your doorstep and drop you back at home.
Times and days of operation, and destinations served, vary according to which area of York you live in.
All buses are specially adapted for wheelchair users and for those that have difficulty walking.

- Askham Bar / Clifton Moor (dependent upon which area you live in)
- Monks Cross and Vangarde shopping parks
- Morrisons (Foss Islands)
- Sainsbury's (Foss Bank)
How to book:
Places are limited so seats must be booked at least 24 hours in advance by calling (01904) 551441. Lines are open 8am to 12 noon, Monday to Friday. Bookings can be made up to two weeks in advance.
Fares:
Pay your fare to the driver when you board the bus.

- Return (Bus pass holder) £3.30
- Blind Bus Pass holder FREE
