Parking will be available from Monday 18th January for people waiting for a vaccine jab.

The re-opening of Grimston Bar Park & Ride and a new dedicated service for students are among improvements being introduced by First York from Sunday 27 September.

The zero emission bus fleet on the York Park & Ride network, a partnership between First York and City of York Council, expands this week with the arrival of a further four Metrodecker EVs.
Bus operators in York are helping families make the most of their school holidays with half price family travel.
The buses can carry 98 passengers (currently restricted due to social distancing) and have a range of 160 miles from one overnight charge
The council has been constantly reviewing these measures to take into account the changing national guidance and York’s local recovery.
The service will operate every 10 minutes during weekday peaks, every 15 minutes off-peak and every 15 minutes at weekends.
