A Park & Ride service now connects Rawcliffe Bar with York Hospital.
This service will no longer operate after Friday 31 March 2023.
The York Hospital Bus runs up to every 20 minutes from 06:00 until 20:15, Mondays to Fridays. Fares are the same as our other York Park & Ride services, with additional discounts for holders of a valid NHS staff ID.
Buses call at all stops between Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride and Rawcliffe Drive, then run non-stop to York Hospital. A new dedicated stop has been provided in front of the disabled car park near the hospital's main entrance.

What happens if I can’t get back to my car before the Park & Ride site closes?
The Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride site closes at 23:00. Overnight parking is not permitted and penalty charges are in operation. If, as a result of your hospital visit, you cannot return to your vehicle before 23:00 then please call the hospital switchboard on (01904) 631313. The switchboard operator will help ensure that your vehicle details can be noted by the Park & Ride site supervisor to prevent a penalty charge notice being issued.
