A summary of bus diversions during the Yorkshire Marathon, Sun 8th October 2017.
On Sunday 14th October, York will host the Yorkshire Marathon, the biggest mass-participation marathon in Yorkshire.
Starting at the University of York, the circular Marathon route passes first through the historic city centre and then through the villages and countryside to the north-east of the city, turning at Stamford Bridge before returning to the finish line at the University.
Over 7,000 runners will be taking part, so please come along and show your support!
Roads along the marathon route will be closed for the safety of the runners, meaning that many bus routes will be diverted during the event. A summary of bus diversions is available to download.
Please note that most buses serving the University of York will also be diverted from 12:00 on Saturday 13th October whilst the Marathon start/finish area is being set up.
