Parking is available in 15 public car parks in York operated by City of York Council.
There are also several privately-run car parks including NCP sites at Piccadilly and Tanner Row and Q-Park sites at Kent Street and Garden Place.
Alternatively, save money by visiting one of York's six Park & Ride sites, where you can park for free all day and use the frequent bus service into the city centre for just £3.30 return. Up to 3 children can travel free with each adult.

The table below shows the current hourly car parking charges for council-operated car parks. Special day rates may also be available. Free parking is available for residents after 6pm. Non-residents pay a reduced fee of £2 to park between 6pm and midnight.
