i-Travel York Pioneer Auditions

We're inviting you to become i-Travel York Pioneers by filming yourself explaining why you want to volunteer to leave your car at home.

Please keep your audition video to a maximum length of three minutes, telling us why you would like to take part in a new i-Travel York programme called My Journey. Maybe you want to contribute to a greener environment or simply lead a healthier lifestyle.

Tell us a bit about yourself, your current commute and which method of transport you will be switching to - whether bus, train, Park & Ride, bike, walking or even skateboard!

Successful applicants from the video auditions, chosen by a panel of i-Travel York judges, will get the opportunity to feature in a series of short films promoting different sustainable travel options for the journey to work. These will be broadcast in early 2013 on YouTube, social networking sites and the i-Travel York website.

You can submit your audition video using a free online file transfer service such as WeTransfer, YouSendIt! or Dropbox.

For example, to send us a video via WeTransfer go to www.wetransfer.com. Use the window in the browser to add your file, enter the email address myjourney@itravelyork.info and click 'Transfer'. Or why not tag us into videos on i-Travel York Facebook or Twitter.

Please note that individual files on WeTransfer are restricted to a size of 2GB and may take several minutes to upload depending on your file size and connection speed. The closing date for submissions is Friday 2 November.
