10am to 4pm. Everyone's favourite free cycling event! Come and have a go on a wide range of pedal powered contraptions.

Watch the cycle stunt team perform gravity defying tricks. Chat to York's leading cycle retailers. Have a go on all kinds of pedal powered machinery. You can even try your cycle skills out on our special Airbag! An event suitable for all ages and abilities from tots through to grandparents! Adapted bikes available for those with special needs.

Savage Skills are the UK’s leading freestyle mountain bike stunt team providing interactive, jaw dropping shows suitable for audiences of all ages throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.

With a selection of the World’s leading stunt riders, an experienced commentator and uniquely designed display rig. SAVAGE SKILLS pride themselves on being the most accomplished stunt show team in the United Kingdom and quite possibly the World. The facts speak for themselves, with 8 World and over 25 British Championship titles you’re sure to see some of the most impressive tricks, jumps and stunts possible, many of which would not think possible on a bicycle – prepare to be amazed!

For those whose cycling involves getting airborne and upside down at the same time The will also be at the Festival waiting for you!  Bring your helmet if you're going to have a go.....! 

Back down to Earth - North Yorkshire Police will bring their excellent Dot Peen property marking machinery for you to have your bicycle marked and logged on a database as a deterrent to would be thieves. 

York's nationally recognised Bike Belles group will be talking to female cyclists about their programe of activities, social evenings and ride-outs, and also their new initiative #travelwithtots to encourage more parents and carers to make short journeys to the park, nursery or toddler group by bicycle.     

So, lots to see and do - bring your friends and family and a picnic!
